Simply fill in the information below to request a CSO ensemble for your event. The cost for hiring CSO musicians is $350 per musician, for any amount of time up to 2 hours and 15 minutes. After that time, overtime rates will apply. The individual musicians must be paid at the event by cash or check. It is preferable to request the ensemble at least 30 days prior to the date of your event. A confirmation will be sent to you via email concerning your request. If approved, we will send you an agreement to sign outlining the specifics of the event, and you will then be put in touch with one of the musicians to make the final arrangements.

NOTE: If CSO musicians are not available, we can also recommend the young professionals of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony's training ensemble. Your event will be posted for the musicians and interested ensembles sign up to play. Often, there will be more than one group interested in playing for a given event, and in that case a drawing will be held to determine which group will play.
